Justin McCarty '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Justin McCarty.  I am a 6' 5" 195 lb. catcher, and I attend White Hall High School in White Hall, Arkansas. I will be graduating in May of 2013. I am currently in my junior season.  This is my second year playing varsity baseball at White Hall and is also my second year as a starter on the team.  I have been playing baseball for 13 years and I look to continue my baseball career past the high school level. 

I hope to play at the highest level of competition in college.  With that said, I also want to receive my college degree because my education is very important to me as well as baseball is.  I currently have a 3.9 grade point average in high school while taking the highest level courses that my school has to offer.  I am looking to pursue a sports medicine degree in college.

I am very dedicated to giving my best on and off the baseball diamond.  I am a hard worker, and I am always the last one to leave the field after a practice and first to get there for a game.  I am a great teammate and a vocal leader for my high school team.   I also attempt to push my teammates to be the best that they can be by encouraging them at everything they do.
