Jacob Volkers '19 Recruiting Profile

I am passionate about baseball.

When I set my mind to something I excel (Whether it is School, or sports).  I am a self starter and work well on my own.  

I maintain a 4.0 G.P.A. in multi-lingual schooling.

I hold myself to a high standard in academics, and have always been self-motivated to perform well. My schooling is in both French and English, and I achieve a 4.0 average while also participating in 15-20 hours of athletic training, practices and games in baseball and varsity basketball per week.  I am ready for college academics and the adjustment needed from high school studies.

 I have been told I am very coachable.   

My pitching continues to develop because of that fact.   I am a student of the game, and realize there is always more to learn.  

This together with the above shows that I am strong candidate and contributor to any post HS team.  

My goal in College is to attain as high a result academically in my chosen discipline (sciences) while contributing to a successful baseball team.
