I love baseball probably more than life itself. I’ve always wanted the opportunity to play post-secondary baseball for any institution, but due to some mental health issues I suffered during the pandemic, I was never able to realize that dream. Since the beginning of this year, I’ve been working hard to become the strongest player I could be, both physically and mentally, and went from a measly 145 LBS up to 165 LBS, and my fastball went from 78-79 to 84-86. I believe this progress reflects just how badly I want to be the pest player I can be, and have the opportunity to play post-secondary. In terms of my character, I‘m pretty introverted. I usually just keep my head down and do my work during practices, but come game time I’m very engaged and team-oriented. As an athlete, I feel like I have a lot more in the tank. I’m hoping to reach my goal of 175 LBS by the end of this year, and have my fastball consistently ranging in the high 80’s - low 90’s.
