Winning league as a freshman has been one of my best moments in high school so far. Going into my junior year, I feel like my ability as a student-athlete grew the most this past year. Being a leader and solid player on the JV team, I got called up to varsity midway through the year and was able to make contributions to the team from the start. This experience helped me not only grow as a person, but also as a better leader. This most recent experience will help me to become a solid player and having the ability play at the college level. I’m searching for a school that fits me both athletically and academically.
I am very thankful to be a part of two very good baseball programs, which both push me to really step up and be different. A couple learnings, regardless of the team, is that I need commitment, sacrifice, and of course leadership. Having talent is very important to a team and combine that with my ability to make good relationships plus having a good work-ethic to go above and beyond is important as well. I’ve played multiple sports for many years including: basketball, soccer, golf, and volleyball. Being the captain on some of these teams leads me to believe that I have what it takes to not only be a solid player, but a leader and outstanding team player as well.
