Blake Lau '26 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has been an important part of my life since I was a young boy. It has shaped and molded me into the young man that I am today. Throughout the years, it has taught me many lessons which have helped me both on and off the field. From teamwork, to leadership, to game strategy, these experiences have prepared me to be the best player who can contribute to an elite college program.  

I have played baseball for over 10 years now and have acquired a plethora of different skills, taught by some very talented coaches. I am a team player, who always values the team over myself. I’m a hard working athlete and I understand that dedication, combined with solid work makes me into a remarkable player.

I have lots of qualities that I believe will be a benefit to any team. I am always willing to be a leader, whether it’s in the dugout, on the field, or in the classroom. I am passionate and will always be there for a teammate who is struggling. I am aware that baseball is as much a mental sport as it is a physical sport, which is great for my mental strength and dexterity.

 I am dedicated to the recruiting process and will always make time to communicate with coaches. I’m searching for a school that provides an excellent education, while fulfilling my dream of playing baseball at the next level.
