Baseball is everything to me, I love it all. Everything from the grind, to the team loses and especially the team bus rides after a blowout win. The smell of the grass, the feel of the ball hitting my glove after a diving stop, the weight of the bat in my hand, and the sound of a perfect liner to the gap. I truly love this game.
I started playing baseball when I was four. I’ve grinded all my life with the goal of playing at the collegiate level. My Parents were both professional dancers, and they have taught me many lessons about life and work ethic. But one I remember clearly is when they told me that you never train until you get it right, you train until you can’t get it wrong. Which is why I'm usually the first player on the field and last to leave.
During my first year of high school ball I was picked as our team captain for the freshman/sophomore team. I like to lead by example, to encourage people to push themselves when others have success. In baseball, just like life, excitement is contagious. Getting the whole team hyped up for the first game of the season or for the first game of playoffs is what I love to do. I will be a team player and a role model for any team that chooses me to play.
I'm open to different types of schools. I’m hoping to find a school that can help me financially, get a great education while allowing me to pursue what I love to do; play ball. I look forward to speaking with you in person soon. Thank you for your time and consideration.
