Personal Statement

I am a student-athlete.

I have played baseball on various travel teams for the past eight years. Currently I play for both the California Warriors and the Chicago Cubs Scout Teams, based out of California. In addition, I have played soccer and tennis throughout my schooling.

My desire is to play for a highly selective academic school. Playing baseball with rigorous academics is my focus. I believe that the diligence required to train/play a sport in college will assist in my academic success too. I also love the competition!

Yes. Most of my Classes are considered Honors Classes in traditional schools, but at Nueva they do not differentiate. Some classes that I have taken: Multivariable Calculus Differential Equations Physics/Dynamics

Awards and Activities

AwardsI am in highly advanced math/science courses that are typically offered in the sophomore year of engineering/math curricula in college.
ActivitiesMy math team tied for the best in California on the M3 Math Challenge this year, as juniors. We received an honorable mention in the challenge, nationally. I am an avid musician and have played at many local venues: Fillmore West, Rickshaw Stop, etc as lead guitarist for Red Star Rogue. In addition I have composed multiple songs that are on Soundplay.
