Michael Gigliello '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Gigliello, class of 2023, located in Huntington Beach, California.

In my future, I wish to not only play baseball at the next level, but to receive an education as well. As soon as I learned that these scholarships aren't necessarily given to you, I've dedicated myself to achieving this goal of mine. 

I believe that being a good teammate is a great attribution, but also being a good friend to others can go a long way.

What makes me different from other recruits is the fact that I focus on simply having fun with the game. Although I've experienced obstacles and hard times, I do not let them affect my mental side of the game. Instead, I learn from those mistakes, and try to make my weaknesses my strengths, while maintaining the strengths I already have. 

This goes with academics as well in my case. However, I believe school is one of my strengths as well as being coachable.
