Personal Statement
Ever since I was little I knew baseball would play a huge role in my life. I have tenacity and perseverance. I will grind on and off the field. Growing up playing baseball, coaches knew their was something special about me. They knew that my hard work and natural talent brought me to be one of the best in all the leagues i've played in. Playing pony I received the honor of being selected to the All-Star team 5 times in a row. As just a freshman in high school, i've held top 3 for stat leaders in 4/10 categories available, with my place in the rest of the ten being top 5 or top 7. This year I threw a no Hitter and had an ERA of 2.59, I hit .462 in league. As a player I am very determined. When my team only having 8 healthy player for a CIF game, I stepped in with a Broken thumb to help play. Being a lefty and having the injury on my right hand. I had to field the ball with my left hand which is abnormal for me, and then throw the glove off my hand to complete the throw. This was a tough challenge but I was able to succeed by getting multiple groundball outs and help my team in any way I could. Baseball is very dear to me and I hope to continue it in my college years.
