Jack Gallagher '19 Recruiting Profile

Dear coaches,

My name is Jack Gallagher and I am currently a Junior at Petaluma High School. Right now I am carrying a 4.33 gpa this year, with an overall gpa of a 3.9 while taking mostly advanced classes. Also, I am balancing school work with my sports and working out on a daily basis. Things that you should know about me are that I am hard working, humble, learn from my mistakes, and am very coachable. I have been playing baseball since I was three and always try to play at a very high level to challenge myself. My freshman year, I was the starting catcher on the Freshman team but filled in for the JV team whenever an extra player was needed. Last year, I played on both the Varsity and JV fall teams where I was the starting catcher on JV and a starting outfielder on Varsity. During the spring season, I started out the season playing for JV where I was the starting catcher  and two hitter where I hit .450 with a .526 slugging percentage. Then, I got pulled up to varsity partway through the season where I was the starting catcher. My goals and aspirations are to go to a division one college to play at the highest level possible and go to one of the top academically rated schools so I can get my degree.
