I was eight years old when I started playing lacrosse because my brother was also playing it. I was on the U-11 team because they didn't have enough girls for the younger team. So I was not only the youngest, but also the smallest, I didn't let that stop me. Throughout the years what I have learned about myself is that I am 100% committed to this sport, I play over my full ability, and that I am a great leader that gets along with everyone. In my opinion I am a very unique person. I am because lacrosse is my passion, I am not afraid for people to know the real me and be myself. I am very goofy, and as my coach says I am like a Labrador because I do as told and can be put anywhere on the field.
In my years I was and still am fortunate enough to be part of amazing teams. I learned to be thankful for everything that I received such as teamwork, work skills, and sacrifices to get where I am. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit and work for me academically and athletically. I believe that I have what its got to compete for a college team, but what really shows I am and will have a great positive effect is my personality, work-ethic, enthusiasm, and leadership skills in the program you have. As an athlete that has been passionate and only chose to play this one sport, that has been a captain and leader I know I have what it takes to be a leader, and college athlete in your program and on your team.
