Charlie Verrone '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches or anyone that may be reading this statement, my name is Charlie Verrone and i am a 2016 graduate from Los Osos high school in Rancho Cucamonga, California  where i am varsity shortstop and closing pitcher. During the summer i play and have played for the last two years on the San Gabriel Valley Arsenal headed by Mr. Mike Viera. At Arsenal, I play nearly every position except catcher (which i am still quite capable of playing). I believe my greatest asset as a ball player is consistency and the ability to do whatever is needed of me. Although my main position is shortstop, i can play every other position at just as high a level if not higher. I always make sure that when i am between the lines, i am the hardest worker on the field from start to finish. I work very well with my teammates always being the first out of the dug out to pick them up and in return, they do the same for me.Those that play around me know that my attitude on the field is best defined as very intense but positive.  I am 100% committed to doing whatever it takes to win as in the end that is always my ultimate goal. After High school I am striving to play division I ball anywhere in the country. Of course i would like for the school to be a great fit for me, of course meaning on the west coast near home, but i am more than willing to travel to play ball for a school that would want me (i.e. ACC or SEC). I do not have any specific goal on which position i wish to play in college, i will just play what my coach asks me to play to the best of my ability.
