Personal Statement

I showed an interest in baseball at a very young age and my love for the sport of baseball has been supported and continually influenced by my close family and friends. I love baseball and all that it offers me for many reasons, but most specifically, because it has taught me the importance of respect and goal setting.  I have learned that respect for other players, for coaches, for the integrity of baseball itself can shape the type of person that I am becoming.  I use my baseball work ethic and goal setting methodology in academics as well.

While being a four-year Varsity athlete I have earned CIF recognition by being named to the First Team All-League for Spring of 2022 as well as being named Co-Captain for my Senior season.  I have had the opportunity to participate in the multiple high-level events such as the Academic All-American in Vero Beach, Florida in December 2021 as well as the National Championships in Arizona this summer.  I have continued to push myself by taking advanced and AP/IB & Dual Enrollment classes and maintain a 4.5 GPA heading into my senior year.

Other than playing baseball, my future goals include wanting to give back to my community by helping the youth enjoy sports like I have. My parents have modeled what it is to serve others through their years of volunteer coaching, and I see the impact it makes on children.  I have enjoyed helping my parents with their teams because I see what a difference I make when a younger baseball player looks up to me and sees my determination and never quit attitude.  I am comfortable being a leader and a role model.  Baseball has given me confidence in myself, and my ability and I want to continue to strive to be the best baseball player and person that I can be to show future players that they can do it as well.

In the outfield, Aristeo gets behind the ball, creates a glove lane and shows solid momentum to his target. Arm strength has bumped up 3mph since we last saw him now coming in at 76mph. At the plate, he shows quick hands to the baseball with a high finish spraying the ball to all fields. With two seasons of high school baseball in front of him, Aristeo is rounding into form nicely.

  • 06/30/2021 - All-In Membership - San Bernardino, CA AJ is a outfielder in the class of 2023. He shines at the plate with help from a good swing plane. He starts in a relaxed square stance before creating a good load. His lower works very efficiently and helps him stay very balanced in his swing. He creates line drive contact consistently. In the field, he shows off good feet that help him create range. He continues to show his athleticism in his fielding position. He does a good job of reading the ball off of the bat and taking efficient routes to the baseball. His throws are on a line and accurate to the plate. AJ is good player that has 2 more years to continue to develop his skills and we hope to see him again at a future event.
