Marcos Tolliver '24 Recruiting Profile

      My name is Marcos Tolliver, I am 6'6* RHP from the class of 2024 at San Rafael High School in San Rafael, CA.  My freshman year became a starting pitcher, when I was 14.  When my team knows I'm starting on the mound, that gives them a sense they can win, regardless of the competition.   As a starting pitcher in 2023, I was able to strikeout about half the batters I faced.  

Being in a competitive varsity environment has engrained in me the importance of leading by an example . Team culture and camaraderie are very important to me. I want my team to not only get along, but also build each other up and support each other.  I have played varsity basketball for my whole high school career, which like baseball, establishes a gritty, hardworking mentality while also making me a much better athlete. 

My goal for baseball is to play at the colliegate level and advance my studies while doing it.  I was selected to represent my high school at California Boys and Girls  State.  This experience solidified my leadership skills, and jump started my interest in Politics and Law.
