Since the age of two, I have always been competitive. At the age of 2 1/2 I joined a soccer program. I developed speed and agility with respect to running. I was very fast! As my gross motor skills and fine motor skills advanced, at age 3 I joined T-ball. My enthusiasm for baseball grew from those days. I’ve always been a multi sport athlete having played golf, tennis, soccer, basketball, baseball and I swam competitively for a nationally recognized club team. I find that all of those sports gave me a great foundation for athleticism, and the understanding of competition. All roads, though always lead me back to baseball. For me, it is a sport that emphasizes one of my favorite subjects which is math. The game requires me to consider geometry, statistics and the applied math in physics. understanding gravity, energy, velocity, speed, momentum and time have led me to sharpen my skills as a baseball player which I hope to continue in college. I’m a great candidate play baseball in college because I’m used to working under pressure. I have taken several AP classes, maintaining a good GPA and playing sports. On top of that, I’ve been committed to service. I am a Life Scout and about to complete my Eagle Scout project. My over 10 years dedication to Boy Scouts of America shows my dedication, commitment and drive that I would contribute to a college baseball team.
