Cael Beanland '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Cael and I love to play baseball. I've been playing baseball my whole life, and I really enjoy doing it. I am currently enrolled at Dove Creek High School. I put school first and I always keep my grades up. I am advanced in English, reading, and math. My current academics right now at Dove Creek High School are a 3.5 average.  I am looking for a college that will help me achieve my academic goals and set me up for success. My primary baseball position is playing shortstop. I've played shortstop my whole life, so it is definitely my most comfortable position. I am a team player and want the best for my team, so I am willing to play anywhere my coaches put me. I work hard to achieve my goals and hold a high standard for myself. I always put a 100% effort in everything I do. This includes in the classroom and out on the field. I am a three-sport athlete, I do baseball, football, and wrestling. I also spend around four days in the gym every week to increase my strength and athletic performance. Even when I'm playing a different sport besides baseball I still put in some work. During the winter I hit off the tee in my basement and throw a bouncy ball at the wall to practice my fielding. When its summer and my season is going, I always make sure I do extra. I will practice in the cage and on the field for hours to get better. As a Christian, I always put God first and I know that if I have faith in him and I work hard good things are going to come to me in the future. In conclusion my faith, hard work, academics, and athletics are what I think will make me a good candidate for many programs.
