Dirk Duncan '22 Recruiting Profile

Furthering my education and playing baseball at the collegiate level is a dream I work toward every day. 

While athletics are important to me, and something I would like to pursue, academics and being involved are also just as or more important.  My current GPA is a 3.3 (cumulative).  I have already completed two college preparatory classes (Science and Business) along with my other courses.  

I am involved in many other activities. I am a link leader for our school and I act as an ambassador or mentor to younger students at EHS and throughout the community.  I am a varsity 3 sport athlete -  I play baseball(2021 state champions), basketball, and football (2021 state champions). As a junior, I was nominated as an All-Conference defensive back, and was selected as an All-Conference infielder this spring for baseball. In addition, I am in the men's choir for our school. I am also a part of the Baseball Factory organization and recently was selected as a player on the Southwest Regional Team, and Baseball Factory all-state team.  I play for the Greeley GOJO organization as my summer club team.

Mental toughness and hard work are things that I have held onto as staples in my life.  These are two characteristics that have helped me and my teams be as successful as we are.  Effort, hard work, determination, integrity and the ability to learn from mistakes are all things that have built a foundation of success that I will carry on to the next level in academics and athletics.
