Kyle Barkley '22 Recruiting Profile

My dream is very simple - To play high-level, competitive baseball for as long as I possibly can.

I take pride in my passion for the game. I value my skills and work diligently to maintain speed, strength, and consistency. I strive to be a leader on and off the field and to set an example with my teammates and in my community.

My primary positions are 3^rd Base and RHP, however, as a team player, I have stepped in to multiple positions successfully. My versatility has made me an asset to my coaches, and I have played many seasons at higher age levels. I was a starter on my high school’s JV team as a Freshman and was slated to be a starter on the Varsity team as a Sophomore (although the season was canceled).

As a college athlete, my goal is to play as much baseball as possible, continuing to improve my skills in order to pursue a professional baseball career. I have the knowledge, desire, drive, and work ethic that it takes to contribute to a team’s success.
