Kane Mullin '25 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Kane Mullin,  I am a Senior in the graduating class of 2025 at Columbine High School in Colorado.

     Ted Williams was the first baseball player to leave an impression on me, because I related to his love for the game and passion for hitting.  When I was younger, I was fortunate to get to attend many Rockies games with my grandparents, and I admired Todd Helton for his loyalty and leadership. I have won character awards and sportsmanship awards over my time playing, and I strive to always be a Helton-like player for my teams. I also really like Pete Rose, because he always found a way to win and outworked everyone on the ball field.  I will never give up and have healthy dose of competitiveness.

      I excel in a learning environment where my mistakes make me better and I gain knowledge from them. My academic interests include debate, sports management, theology, history, and Japanese. I love complex ideas and would welcome diverse challenges to problem solve. Baseball is a teacher and reinforces my thoughts in life and learning. I feel fortunate to get to play a game I enjoy on every level. I plan to grow as an athlete and an academic in a program.
