I have had a passion for baseball since the first time I played it as a little kid. I have been influenced by my coaches, teammates, and family who have provided me with opportunities, supported me and pushed me to be better. I have learned through playing baseball that I work hard on things I care about and that even through struggles I can continue to better myself. I have had to overcome obstacles such as breaking my leg and surgery on my leg. But even with the obstacles I still pushed through. Skills I have include excellent work ethic, mental and physical discipline, and personal responsibility, which I have learned while playing baseball since 1st grade and wrestling since 6th grade. My goals for high school are to graduate at the top of my class. I also want to receive academic and athletic letters in baseball and wrestling. My goals in college are to obtain a BS/MBA degree in engineering while graduating with little to no debt and to play as much baseball on the field as possible, preferably year round.
