Playing professional baseball has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid.  Whenever I talked about this dream my parents asked me if I would be willing to work toward it.  I was taught from a young age to work hard because that's the only way you're going to achieve your goals.  They instilled this mindset in all aspects of my life not just sports.  I have always strived to be great whether it was in academics, athletics or anything else that I was participating in.  I always work the hardest I can in practice, in the weight room, or training on my own because I realize that not doing so is only cheating my teammates and myself.  I think of every rep as one step closer to completing my dream.  I would love to go to a school where I can get a degree while being able to play the sport I love, and being able to grow as a person and a player.
