Dylan Ortega '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dylan Ortega Currently a sophomore at Palisade Highschool My graduation year is 2027. My biggest goal as a Baseball athlete Is to be a professional baseball player and to retire my parents, but before I get there I have get there step by step so one of my other goals is to get a scholarship for any school that has my major in CO, What makes me a good candidate for a team is that I can pick my teammate’s up if they do not play as good in a practice or game, If I make an error what I always say is turn the page and worry about the next play. What makes me different from other recruits is I’m a fast learner and I’m coachable, anything my coach tells me to adjust, I will do it. Also like I’ve said, I am willing to reset my errors and forget about them during a game and remember after the game so I can reflect on them, But most importantly pick up my teamates and build relationships with them so we can really be a strong team. Academic wise I put school before my sport and If I’m low in a class I skip practice to bump up that grade.
