Kyle Platt '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kyle Platt and I am an upcoming senior at Bethel High School. I am 5’10" and currently weigh 165lbs. Who I am today has been influenced largely by my family, friends, and school.  My hometown,of Bethel, CT.  is a small town that is a primarily baseball influenced community.  Baseball is what most kids in our town play.  This past season, we managed to go back-to-back, winning the conference championship against Weston. I batted .310 with 4 doubles and 7 RBIs while starting at shortstop.

I have big plans on improving my tools over the summer and beyond leading up to my senior season. Whether it’s a team practice/game,  practicing ground balls off of the wall in my back yard, or spending countless hours hitting in the batting cages, I will continue to work hard.  

I like to challenge myself not only on the field but in the classroom as well.  In school, I have made the honor roll over the past 3 years and continue to work hard. I enjoy working with children while I work my summers as a camp counselor at the Boys and Girls Club of Ridgefield, CT.
