Personal Statement
I have been playing baseball since I was three years old. I have never imagined my life without baseball and playing college ball has been a long time goal for me.
An opportunity to play college ball could change my whole life. I have strong, athletic, and flexible skills as a first baseman, strong physical defense in the outfield, mental toughness, and high baseball IQ. I am a left handed relief pitcher as well.
I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates to stay in the game at all costs. I will be serving as captain of my high school’s varsity baseball team, which I have been part of since my sophomore year.
I am very coachable and assist my coach with leading practices and coaching other teammates to success. I strive to be one of the hardest working players on and off the field and will be one of the hardest working recruits you'll find.
I work hard year round on my baseball skills, participating in my tournament travel team Power House Bulldogs, Legion Baseball, then the last several years on the All Star Team, also participating in years of JLS Baseball, and lifting in the weight room in the off season.
In the classroom, I study hard, participate, and am respectful to all staff. I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the baseball field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all.
