Owen Wheeler '17 Recruiting Profile

Its all about work ethic; there's always something to improve. I am very focused on school and sports and believe that they will get me a better future. I try to be a leader both in the classroom and on the ball field . I am looking to improve both mentally and physically from every challenge I face. For each sport that I have played: Basketball, Football, Soccer , and Baseball, I have been determined to be a versatile player in each of them. This includes doing whatever it takes, such as playing different roles or positions to get the win for the team. I have played baseball for many years and look to gain more experience from playing at higher levels. I have really been focused on baseball, playing year round for different AAU baseball teams like the Connecticut Pirates and the DBI Schooners. I am very coachable, and work hard to balance both sports and academic demands.  College is a big part of my life, I've always had the desire to play for a baseball program with fellow teammates, classmates, and a great college, all behind me, supporting me.
