Dear Prospective Coach,
First of all, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to view my profile. My name is Daniel Gantert and I am a 5’11” 175lb right hand hitting catcher/MINF from class of 2022 out of New Fairfield, CT. It is my aspiration to continue playing baseball while pursuing an academic degree in Justice and Law Administration/Fire Science.
In addition to coming from a military family, I’m also part of a large police family that goes back generations. While public service has always been a part of my life, it is also very important to me to continue on this family legacy of service. Not only do I have a passion for the game of baseball but I also understand and appreciate the life lessons that are taught by playing organized sports. Fortunately, I’ve been taught by my coaches how these life lessons will aid me after college while pursuing a career. How to deal with failure, competing for a position and being part of a team are just a few of these lessons I have learned.
In addition to bringing my baseball skills and abilities to the field, I will also bring my leadership, dedication and passion for the game. If given the opportunity to play for your program, I can assure you that you would get all my passion and effort on the field and in the classroom.
Again, I would like to thank you in advance for time and consideration,
Daniel Gantert
