I have always loved baseball ever since my T-ball days. It wasn’t until I started pitching in little league where my love for the sport started to grow. Up until now I have loved every moment I have had on the mound. This high school season we started off 16-0. We felt unstoppable until we fell short and lost 3 games in a row. We kept fighting but left the state tournament in the second round. Seeing all of the articles about my high school felt so good, being number one in the state for a long period of time. Losing did not feel normal but we were taught to have a short memory and take the good out of what had happened. Off the field I am working hard on my academics and I always make sure to have good grades before I step onto the field. I am also always trying to improve my skills while making sure my teammates are too. I have a very competitive spirit. It would be a dream to continue both my academic and athletic career in college.
