Jaycob Caseres '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jaycob Caseres and my overall goal is to continue my passion of playing baseball at the next level in addition to furthering my education by obtaining a degree in business. I am a good candidate for your school because I am always willing to push myself and work hard to better my playing skills. Being a team player is an important trait and this has allowed me to become a utility player.  I know the importance of feedback to better my game and I show my enthusiasm by hustling on every play. What makes me different from other recruits is that I continuously strive to become a better player and person. My course-load has consisted from Cambridge Aice classes, Advance placement classes(AP) as well as honors classes. Having a hard course load has taught me how to balance school work in completing all of my assignments in a timely manner, and going to bed early to make my 5am workouts. My academic drive and love for the game pushes me to give it my all beginning with my morning workouts, to team practices, practices on my own, and playing in scheduled games. My drive to succeed in academics, sports, and in my life, is an asset to any school. The support of my family has laid the foundation to build my confidence in all areas of my life.
