Jayson Rodriguez '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal since I was a little kid was to go professional in baseball. I always wanted to make other people better, especially in a team. I put my teammates before me. And my love for God is limitless. I go to Faith Christian Academy and I've been playing baseball my entire life ever since I was 3 years old. I want to also gain my teammates trust and my coaches' trust. The good thing about me in baseball is the fact that you can use me for so many things, I'm pretty much an all-around player. I can play pitcher, the infield and outfield. I also played for state at a different league in July-August 2018. I am proudly in the class of 2020 and I'm looking forward to stretch my future and my personal self to the max. I am leadership material, whenever I see somebody sad or down emotionally out or in the baseball field, I tend to stick with the plan and to push forward positively towards my teammates and to those who may hate me. Academics, I struggle in the beginning but I keep a constant pace with my grades. I can't wait to play for your team!
