Leah Barnes '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Leah. To give input on a few things to know about me, I am a selfless player who can scan the floor but can attack the rim aggressively, along with excellent ball handling. I can play all the positions. My aspirations are to reach higher goals than college ball, become a draft pick, or pursue a medical career. Athletics has been a part of my life since I was four. It started with soccer and martial arts, then the love and passion for basketball. Throughout my years of playing, I have developed quick thinking, especially in challenging situations, perseverance through adversity, and the desire to be uncomfortable to grow. Still, one of the biggest things for me is composure. I have learned to keep my composure and keep putting effort into my team regardless of any reason. As a student-athlete, I am ready for the next level and will give 110% on the court and in class!
