I would like to introduce myself, my name is Guy “Marlin” Peacock. I will be a senior at Pine
Forest High School in Pensacola, Florida, this upcoming fall. As a freshman I was called up to
play for varsity in our District games as a right fielder. I have continued as varsity player for my
sophomore year and junior year. I am a current starter on Varsity in right field and as a pitcher. I
will graduate May of 2017. I began playing baseball at age of three, as well as travel ball. In
2012, I had the opportunity to play at Nations Park Tournament in Gainesville, Florida, where I
placed second overall for the quickest time thrown (throwing from Right Field to 2nd Base) out
the top 10 teams. The best way to describe a unique skill and ability about myself is I have a
canon from the outfield. I strive to work hard in the classroom and dedicate myself to maintain a
GPA of 3.5 and working hard to increase it. The last two consecutive years, I have been
recognized by my coach with the highest Athletic GPA Award my freshman and sophomore
year. I plan on taking the ACT this fall. My academics are extremely important to me and my
dream and goal is to continue to play baseball at the next level.
I am 6’2 and 170 lbs. I am currently working out in the gym 3 days a week as well as at
Unlimited Fitness with a Certified Personal Trainer improving my speed and agility. I would
like very much to continue on with my dedication, great leadership on and off the field, in and
out of the classroom, as I strive to become a better Athlete to reach that top level of playing the
game of Baseball.
