Alex Nickler '21 Recruiting Profile

My goals as a student-athlete moving on to the collegiate level is to not only play at a competitive level but to develop myself as a pitcher and a teammate. I feel what makes me a good candidate for any team is my competitive edge and willingness to get whatever given job done, and done well. What makes me different from other recruits is my constant thirst for knowledge, studying the game to its science to better myself as a pitcher and baseball player as a whole. As far as athletics and academics are concerned, the combination of my athleticism on the mound, elusive fastball and off the charts spin rate (up to 2400 on the FB, 2700 on the CB), as well as my strong academics and test scores gives me a large step above the rest.
