Chad Lessing '18 Recruiting Profile

I was born in the Netherlands, but grew up in South Africa. Both of my parents were born and raised in South Africa. Cricket was my main sport growing up, I played that my whole life while living there. I moved here in 5th grade and immediately signed up for baseball and fell in love as soon as I faced my first pitch.  As I went on playing the game, I realized that this is what I want to do for as long as my body lets me. My goal is to play college baseball with the dream of being drafted and go on to play pro ball.  With me, you get a good teammate with heart and the will to win. I am very coach-able as I love to learn and know it will help me get better. I am a hard worker and there is nothing that will stop me once I put my mind to something. I work hard in the classroom and am respectful to my teachers and fellow students.
