kate johnson '21 Recruiting Profile

I am dedicated to the game that I love.  I have grown up in the basketball gym.  Since I was little, I have been surrounded by coaches and players.  This experience has taught me a lot about the game of basketball, but also about the player that I want to be.  I have seen players and coaches with amazing attitudes and dedication to the game and those were my roll models from a young age.  Basketball has given me the chance to be goal oriented and one of my goals is to play at the next level.  Since basketball may not be my career, I am also looking to further my education while continuing to play the game that I have known since I was young.  I am looking for a team that is like a family with unique people and skills that come together to push towards a common goal.

Honesty and integrity are foundations for my personal character.  These attributes are the most important to me in all relationships.  Not only do I work hard on the court, but I also understand the importance of having the same drive towards excellence in the classroom.  I strive to be a life long learner on and off the court.
