Coming from a Christian background I have always known how to treat others with respect . My parents have put that idea in my head knowing I have the ability to affect others in a positive way. My first mission in every game as a catcher is to shake hands and introduce myself to the umpires. This idea that there is always room to learn more in life from anyone and not just those in a position greater than yours was sparked from my mother. I devote myself to being the best player throughout college by continuously improving myself, listening to authority, and holding others accountable knowing we should all strive to always progress in our lives.
