Personal Statement

My name is Darius Lucas, and I am a senior (2017) at Decatur High School in Decatur, Georgia.  I am also enrolled at DeVry University under the high school’s dual enrollment program pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Network Systems Administration.  I play on both varsity and junior varsity teams at Decatur High School.  Also, I play on a summer travel team called P-Squared Athletics 17U/18U in Buford, GA

I’m considering a college, such as yours, that fits me both academically and athletically. I am looking for a school that offers a degree in the areas of Athletic Training/Sports Science/Physical Therapy. As for baseball, I am seeking a college program that will need outfielders upon my graduation and will give me the opportunity to further develop as a player, learn the total game, make a contribution to the team, and enjoy the game of baseball.
