Kedric Zimmer '21 Recruiting Profile

It all started when I was around 4. My dad brought to my attention that I had  a rare ability, which is to be ambidextrous both in hitting and pitching. Later in my life, after hard work and moving to Georgia in 2010, I joined a Travel team. Then, in 2013, I began my journey on one of the top 11u teams in the state of Georgia. This is where my highlights began. From pitching in championships at Super N.I.T’s to State Final Fours and being the go to pitcher in the big moment, was a dream come true. After my 11u season, I felt as though I never wanted the moment to end. As a result, I turned up my work ethic and determination with the goal of being a top pitcher in any tournament I played in. So I worked hard and as much as I could to do so. My goal now is to win a State Championship for my high school, so I can relive my great moments, and then go on to play at the highest level I am capable of playing.

     As I continue to play with my graduating class of 2021, I feel as though I am on the field to exceed expectations the coaches give me. I am the number 1 pitcher In our rotation as both a right handed and left handed pitcher. When I am not pitching, I am starting at shortstop. Staying both humble and having confidence, I continue to work even when my coaches don’t see the work I put in. Both on and off the field, I continue to grow as both a leader and teammate so I can improve myself. As a two-sport athlete and main leader, I know I have what it takes to be a leader and big part of your team!
