Baseball has always been one of, if not the most important things in my life. I'm happiest when I'm out on the field, standing in the outfield, creeping in every pitch, and waiting for my chance to come and make the play. I think of myself as a strong outfielder with a great arm and explosive speed that allows me to make consistent plays. My favorite thing about baseball has to be hitting. That feeling of piecing a ball up and the adrenaline of spriting around the bases is unmatched. I see myself as a big extra-base hit batter. Even though I'm not the biggest, I have very quick hands and explosive power that makes the ball sail. This mixed with my speed on the bases allows for those extra-base hits. I am the type of player to put myself to very high standards and if I do not meet those standards, I don't let it affect my play in a negative way, I instead start thinking of drills or ways to improve so I can reach those standards. Because of this, I am always trying to improve. The reality is, no matter how much I improve, someone is always going to be better, but that's ok, I don't compare myself to others, I only compare myself to myself and try to be a better me, because there's no other player like me.
