I have been passionate about the game of baseball from an early age. I was six years old moving into a new neighborhood where I saw all the kids playing baseball in the streets, while also going off to play on the local little league teams. This was the time I became interested in the sport, and I immediately signed up to start playing along with all the other kids in my community. My interest in baseball has not died since then, and along with the support from both of my parents, it has driven me to continue playing for as long as I have been. Baseball has taught me that nothing that you want will come to you without hard work. I apply this lesson to my life every day, on and off the field, and in and out of the classroom. I have always been successful in school because of what I have taken out of baseball, that being able to strive to complete my goals and to not accept anything less.
One thing that I strive for on every team that I am on is for everyone to have a good bond with each other, because without anyone being connected, there is no team. A team should be like a family, and everyone on it should be on the same mission. This, along with being able to compete at a higher level, is what I am looking forward into pursuing a career in college baseball.
