I played my first competitive baseball season when I was six years old. At my first high school baseball game I was given the opportunity to start varsity as a freshman. My consistent hitting helped to secure that starting spot as well as my defensive strength at the corners. I loved the challenge and the competitiveness this season provided. I always knew I wanted to play at a highly competitive level, but it was during this season that I decided to pursue playing baseball at the college level.
I am a great teammate and positive leader on and off the field. I also know how important my education is and am committed to improving academically each year as well. I am always open and looking for any feedback from my coaches and my teachers. I am determined to continue to build my skills to become the best baseball player and student possible. I know that without the amazing coaches and teachers I have had, I would not be where I am now. I enjoy putting in the work to accomplish these goals during the off season and outside of practices. I believe this is where I build my strength and improvement as a player.
