Personal Statement
I have always wanted to be a baseball player. From the time that I was in T-Ball and my parents asked what I wanted to be, my response was "A baseball player". I believe that there is a difference in being someone who plays baseball and someone who is a baseball player. I treat baseball like I do my school work. Baseball is a puzzle that I strive to find the solution to, just like when I am doing my school work or taking a test. I understand that I am a "Student Athlete" and that we are held to different standards, higher standards and I am willing to take on that challenge. I also believe that my character is one that a teacher or a coach would desire. I know when it is time for business in both sports, academics and when out in the world. My goal is to attend a university that not only fits my academic profile, but also one that allows me to play baseball at the next level.
