Evan Foster '23 Recruiting Profile

Other than talking with me, I definitely encourage anyone interested in my baseball skill and my character to please reach out to my coaches.  They would love to talk with anyone interested in having me play at the next level.  

I'm sure there are a lot of guys who are better in the cage, or at a showcase, but I pride myself on being able to be relied upon by my teams to actually produce in-game, and in clutch situations.  My main goal is to have fun playing baseball, contribute to my team, and continue playing into college.  I think what sets me apart from other recruits is my intelligence and my work ethic on and off the diamond. I put in max effort on the field, in training, and in the classroom, and will never give myself or my team any less.   Being a lefty is a gift and a curse.  While I would love to be able to play any position, I have been able to concentrate on OF/P/1B, and my ability at each position is high.  I'm a control pitcher with a high strikeout rate.  I'm a two-way player, so I'm not specializing at this point.  On the field, my speed and ball-reading abilities project me best in the OF.  Preferably, I would like to play baseball at a school known for putting a winning team on the field each year, as well as a school with high academic standards.
