Matthew Phillips '13 Recruiting Profile

Baseball is in my blood, I have loved the game since I was little and my grandfather got me interested in playing. I remeber every single day since I was ten I would be outside pitching into my bounce back net. I never really had anyone to play with so I would have to throw the ball and then have it come back off the bounce so I could practice hitting. My passion for the game if anything has increased tremendously since then and I want to learn more everyday.  I have been a Varsity pitcher ever since my freshman year and have alot more experience now as a Junior.
