Paul O'Toole '13 Recruiting Profile

I am driven to succeed, both as an athlete and a student, which is shown by my work ethic. I compete at a high level of baseball and play varsity hockey year round. The training I do both on and off the ice helps me to compete in baseball and keeps me focused on school. My strong work ethic shows that it has paid off so far-sophomore year, I led my high school baseball team in runs, hits, triples, batting average, wins as a pitcher, innings pitched, strike outs, whip and Era.  This year, I was the only junior starter, led my team in RBI's(28) and had the second highest team batting average (.430). I also earned All Area Pioneer Press West Second Team and All County Honorable Mention. I am a versatile player. My primary position is third base; however, I also play shortstop, second base and pitch. At the baseball club level, I was chosen to play on the only 16U CABA team that qualifed for the 18U Connie Mack tournament and won until the Regional game. I was also invited to the PBR Preseason High School All-State Showcase. I hope to play baseball in college, at any level where I am needed, in the Midwest or on the East Coast. My academic interest is in accounting and/or business.
