Tyler Verona '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tyler "Ty" Verona, I am 6 ft. tall, 175 lbs., and a junior in high school. I attend Marquette Academy High School. I have been a starting pitcher on the varsity team since my freshman year. My sophomore season my team made it to the Elite 8 in the Class 1A Playoffs.

I bring to my team a confident starting pitcher, someone that my teammates can look up to and lean on when times get rough. I am left handed. I am looking to finish out my high school career with a state championship and lead my team to it. I work extremely hard during the off season and regular season to better myself. I am a very coachable player and willing to take any advice, tips, or strategies that will better myself as a pitcher.

I want to play baseball in college as a pitcher. It's my biggest passion. I am willing to do whatever it takes to get myself to the highest level of competition I can reach. I am very athletic and I am always working on my game to become the best. My main goal is to impact whatever team I can contribute to in a lasting way, on both my teammates and coaches, no matter the circumstances.
