Josiah Kniep '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Josiah Kniep and I am in the graduating class of 2026 at Peoria Christian School in central Illinois. I throw right-handed but switch hit at the plate. I play middle infield but can also play out field and pitch as well. I have grown a love for the game since I started playing when I was 9. I made a travel team after not making it the year before and since then I have played two seasons of baseball a year and love every second of it. I love the grind of practices and games everyday throughout the season and pushing myself to grow my skills and fit myself into the roles that need filled.

I enjoy trying to get myself to a college baseball standard because I hope that if I work hard enough my college experience would include playing the game I love. Playing baseball in college is something I know I want to do because I know I would share the same competitive level and love for the game of those guys.
