When I was the age of three, my dad showed me how to throw a ball which gave me the passion for baseball and all sports I still have today. Since the age of eight I have played on a competitive travel ball team in which I was given the opportunity to grow as a player. We traveled to several states, won various championships, and met several other equally talented ball players. Among those wins were also loses in which I have graciously learned and grown.
Every day I put one to two hours of lifting and training to give me the mental edge and strength I need to compete. My goal is to attend a college or university in which I will continue to play competitively and to broaden my knowledge in a subject of my choosing. I will continue to work hard to keep my skills and grades in check. I look forward to the professional relationships I will commit to with my coaches; and use the constructive criticism they give me to grow athletically and academically.
