Running isn’t something I took fully serious until recent. I was committed to being a college baseball player, however things have since changed and I am looking solely for college running opportunities.
Ive run cross country since 7th grade, and this last season (11th grade) was my first track season. Even in my first track season I was able to take down the 2 minute mark for the 800m, almost becoming a state qualifier.
I am great in the classroom, earning numerous honor roll awards, scoring a 1270 SAT and passing all AP Tests taken with 2 4s and a 3.
What makes me unique is my untapped potential. I set a new Cross Country 3 mile PR in the preseason, 6 weeks out from our home opener. In track, my untapped speed and speed endurance will come to light as my coach and I are having expectations of times 1:56 and better for this upcoming season.
