Tanner Skeel '15 Recruiting Profile

I am interested in playing baseball at the college level. I am a diverse player. I play catcher, first base and pitcher for my high school team.  I also play these positions for my club team, The Johnson County Jaguars. In the past, I have also played shortstop. I have been playing baseball as a catcher since the age of 5. 

I am a a honors student with a solid GPA.  I am a three sport athlete in a 4A Indiana high school. I am quarterback of the football team. I play hockey which overlaps into football season and I also play high school and and club baseball. I also work in our family business.

I believe my skills from other sports make me a solid baseball player. From foot and hand speed in hockey and football to the ability to handle multiple sports and academics at the same time. As the quarterback, I bring team leadership skills. All these skills make my a good candidate for collegiate sports. 

This year I was selected by my high school to attend the Mid State Leadership Summit as a student athlete representing my high school.
