Personal Statement
I started playing t-ball when I was five. I played for the local little league for five years. I also played football and basketball, but I love playing baseball. When I was ten I tried out for a Southwest Ohio League team. I played for a silver level team for three years. Then I tried out for J.B. Yeager, a national level team. I didn't make the team, but I used the coach's suggestions to get better and stronger. I did make a premier team and played for them for a year. I tried out for J.B. Yeager again, and again I didn't make the team. It was my dream to play for J.B. Yeager, so I didn't give up. I went home and worked hard. I was offered spots on several teams, but I wanted to play for J.B. Yeager. When they had a spot open up, I tried out again. The coach was happy with how much work I had put in, and he offered me spot. My coaches are amazing. They have taught me so much. I am working hard every day to reach my goals. I would like to continue to play for the Southwest Ohio League, after my high school seasons. I also want to play baseball at the college level.
My favorite place in the world is the mound. I feel at home when pitching. I also play 3rd base and left and right field. I have played every position except 1st and shortstop.
After college I would like to be an electrical engineer. I will be taking some engineering classes in high school to help me prepare for the challenging field of engineering.
I am a dedicated and determined person and athlete. I am not afraid of hard work, and I will not give up on my goals.
